Tea Party Summit Highlights

Over 300 TEA group members and conservatives assembled over the weekend of May 21 – 23 in Wilmington, including seven Lee County patriots.  The event was sponsored by Americans for Prosperity, the John Locke Foundation, and the J. W. Pope Civitas Institute.

Tea Party WorkshopThe weekend was packed with training sessions such as message development, volunteer recruitment, precinct training, using new and evolving technologies, and Get Out Our Vote campaigns.

 

Tea Party Town Hall

A Town Hall session was moderated by Lee County's Chad Adams who now has his own weekly conservative radio talk show, "The Big Talker" in Wilmington.

 

Attendees left energized anxious to implement the strategies they learned in the sessions.
