Defend Freedom… Support Cuba

The fact of the matter is that Only 90 miles from American soil, the Cuban regime remains closely aligned with governments that oppose the United States. When adversarial influence exists this close to our homeland, Americans cannot afford to look the other way. It is vital that Americans stand strong as we enter such A pivotal moment in history.
*Only 90 miles from America, the Cuban people are still fighting for their freedom and America continues to absorb the consequences*
For more than six decades, the Cuban regime has held power through repression, while maintaining deep relationships with hostile foreign powers.
Throughout the Cold War and even more today, Cuba has served as a strategic foothold for governments like Russia and other adversarial regimes operating in our hemisphere with alarmingly more frequent deployments, testing our Atlantic and Pacific coastlines.
> This is not just a Cuban issue.
> This is an American security issue.
The brave men and women in our Cuban community know this better than anyone. Many of them fled the very system that still controls their homeland today. They know that true peace and stability in our region will only come when the Cuban people are finally able to choose their own leaders through free, fair, and democratic elections—without outside influence and without fear.
When that day comes, when a truly sovereign and democratic Cuba stands as a free neighbor just 90 miles from our shores, it will strengthen not only the Cuban people but the security and freedom of the entire Western Hemisphere.
Until then, we must stand in solidarity with those still fighting for liberty.
