SUMMARY:Election Integrity: How Florida Elections Maintain Security
DESCRIPTION:Join Precinct committeeman\, Avery Dimmig (209)\, as he breaks down how “Florida elections maintain security”. \nThis unique perspective challenges common election integrity concerns and brings into question whether we should be focused on machines\, paper ballots\, or both. Avery will supply a number of handouts as he walks the audience through statistics they may not have heard or seen before. \nThis event is FREE for active precinct committeemen and women and is open to the public. \nA suggested contribution of $10 per person is requested for members of the public. \nThis is not a forum for debate. This workshop is a presentation and is strictly informational. \n*The information presented in this workshop is not endorsed by the LCREC. PCM Mr. Dimmig wishes to present his perspective\, which is not that of the LCREC as an organization. The LCREC has hundreds of members with many differing views. In March of 2023\, the LCREC overwhelmingly passed a resolution imploring our state legislature and Governor to eliminate voting machines and pivot to hand counted paper ballots.
