Lee County Republican Executive Committee aka Lee GOP Celebrates Grand Re-opening of Headquarters in Fort Myers
Fort Myers, Fla. — The Lee County Republican Executive Committee (REC) celebrated the grand re-opening of its headquarters on Saturday, February 28, 2026, welcoming community members, volunteers, and local leaders to the revitalized office space.
The headquarters, located at 12995 S. Cleveland Ave., Suite 239, Fort Myers, Florida, hosted the event from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., drawing nearly 100 attendees who gathered to mark the milestone and show their support for local Republican efforts in Lee County.
- More than a dozen local and congressional candidates were present.
- Mayor Anderson, along with city and county elected officials, attended the event.
- Local business owners and community leaderswere also in attendance, reflecting strong engagement from across the community.
Guests had the opportunity to tour the updated facility, connect with fellow community members, and learn more about upcoming initiatives and volunteer opportunities. The grand reopening reflects the committee’s continued commitment to strengthening grassroots engagement and providing a central hub for conservative organizing and outreach throughout the region.
“Our headquarters serves as the heart of our local efforts,” said Mercedes Price Harry, Chair of the Lee County REC. “Seeing 100 supporters come out to celebrate the re-opening demonstrates the strong enthusiasm and dedication within our community.”
The newly re-opened headquarters will function as a base for volunteer coordination, campaign activities, voter outreach, and community engagement throughout Lee County. The Lee County Republican Executive Committee remains committed to fulfilling its role as the county GOP organization by encouraging voter participation, educating Republican voters, and supporting Republican candidates throughout Lee County.
