The Lee County GOP, under the leadership of Chairman Mercedes Price-Harry, will be spearheading an Ethical Campaigns and Accountability Initiative, created to hold our candidates and elected officials accountable in conducting their campaigns (and themselves) in a way that is ethical and fitting for a Republican. In the Lee County GOP we want to see our elected officials vote with integrity and with the best interest of our community at the forefront. Personal attacks and backroom deals should not be commonplace in Republican circles. This election year, we will be diligent in our quest to find the strongest candidate in the most respectful environment possible.
Let’s debate, not smear. Let’s elect leaders who vote with no conflicts or lobbyists in their back pockets. Let Lee County continue to thrive with honor and integrity.
This Ad Hoc Committee will conduct interviews, questionnaires and assist in hosting various events to provide Republicans in Lee County every opportunity to learn more about who they are voting for this fall. Everything starts local!
